Hello.

I would like to make a request about what i think is a really important missing feature. I would like to have an individual blacklist just as we have the whitelist. The global blacklist is not usable when you have hundereds of users as some of them want certain emails and other does not.

Best Regards

Patrik

This has been asked for a number of times but its good to bring it up again. We need to have a Wishlist or Features Request forum (or at least start a thread) of what the users would like to see in SFI. I haven't ever seen a roadmap of where SFI is heading but maybe we need to make our wishes heard to make sure SFI and the users are on the same page. Competition is fierce out there in the Spam fighting software world. Would be cool if someone could come up with a method to list a number of features and others could vote (maybe not vote since writing software is not a democracy ) and others could concur that they would like to see similar features. Not sure if this forum has any voting capabilites.

Please rest assured that even though we may not answer all the "wishlist" postings, we do read them all. many of the features requested are indeed added to SpamFilter on a regular basis. Afterall, if it weren't for user's suggestions, SpamFilter would not have this many features...

Actually we've asked users to "vote" in the past! Nowdays, this is less useful as we "see" by the number of posts what new features gain the most interest, and those are the ones we concentrate upon. We do not really have a roadmap as this forum, and SpamFilter with it, is very dynamic. If requests are excellent ideas (like the SFBD - this was a user suggestion!) or are simple to implement, we may stop whatever development we're doing and add them in right away.

We've just released a new official release today, and in it (prior to reading this thread.. .it was a coincidence!) we added comments on what the next short term new features will hopefully be.
